It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Balance International School. This has been a school which has been in the making for the last four years and over the last year the beginnings of the dreams started to take place.

Balance fulfills a dream and commitment of its owners to offer a high quality, accredited school in Surat Thani that will offers a range of educations skills from the Early Years Program through to the end of Secondary School. Cambridge International Examinations was chosen as the curriculum of choice as not only has this never been available to parents in the city before, but also because of the foundational ethos’s which is attached to the Cambridge teaching and learning philosophies.
At Balance we don’t want to only create a love for learning through our play-based and project based learning, but we always want to inspire in enquiring spirit in all our students. We want to challenge individual needs through a curriculum that is open to creativity and express, while also remain steadfast to the foundations of teaching the learning essential of reading, writing and communication.
Having experiences in all the major curricula throughout the world including the Common Core and the International Baccalaureate, I am confident that the choice of curriculum for Balance will offer our students challenges and skills required to engage with challenges of this century and add to the further development of Thailand and the ASEAN region.
