Enrollment
The school will endeavour to meet, as far as possible, the needs of students dietary, religious or other restrictions.
Application for admission at all levels requires the completion of the enrolment form, completion of payments of the appropriate enrolment fee and the undertaking of the admission assessment(s). Students will be placed in their correct age group, apart from exceptional circumstances. The reasons for these exceptions would only be in the best interests of the education of the child as determined by the school and requires approval from the Head of School: Early Years (Toddler – Reception), Primary (Year 1 – 6), Lower Secondary (Year 7 – 9) and Upper Secondary (Year 10 – 11) levels.
Where doubt exists as to the reason for leaving a previous school, the Head of School or designee will contact the previous school, prior to enrollment. Final approval for admission lies with the Head of School.

Provision of Care & Support
At Balance International School, we carefully assess students through the admissions tests and counsel parents against placing their child in the school if we do not feel we can offer the appropriate provision for that child. This policy encompasses special emotional, social, academic, physical and behavioural needs. It is important that parents discuss any special needs their child may have with the Head of School
Class Organisation
At Balance International School, class sizes are limited to 20 pupils. We strive for balanced classes by considering language experience, nationality, ability, and gender. Academic abilities could also be a major factor in deciding where a child is placed. If needed, we may reorganize classes at the start of the year to ensure a proper balance. Students have many opportunities to interact with peers through extra-curricular clubs and music classes.
English Entry Requirements
The English level required is dependent on the age of the child and the year group to which entry is sought. Please consult the Head of School and the Balance International School’s Language Policy for further details.
